I would like to start by saying what a brilliant job Looney & McAlister did in our home. The work carried out was to a very high standard, and the finished project has given us the family home which we wanted.

The workmen were very pleasant, clean and tidy, and nothing was too much for them, even after we changed our floor design once the job had begun, which meant additional work. The knowledge of Shaun was a bonus for us, as he gave us really good advice on parts of the job that was not in the scope of his works.

From the moment we met Shaun we knew he was the right person for the job and an absolute gentleman.  He was the 3rd/4th local builder we had out for a quote/advice of what we could do, but the only 1 to mention about a structural engineer, and the best by a long shot. 

Our project was not straightforward and definitely not an easy one to predict or quote, two supporting walls had to be removed and beams put in, one with our electric box on it, chimney breast/old wall to be moved, plus slit more.  Other local builders didn’t even want to do it, and with two young children in the house, one a new born, even more awkward, but this never fazed Looney & McAlister, they just wanted to give us the kitchen/dining room we wanted.

Shaun came in under budget, did an amazing job, on time and was down every morning to check in on the job and deserves a 5* review for the great job. I would definitely recommend Looney & McAlister for all works needed to anyone.
